SKapade Studios are celebrating ahead of their three year anniversary tomorrow and want everyone to join in them.
The Dumbarton-based, state-of-the-art studios music production training in various styles of electronic music. The small team are committed to providing one to one tuition as well as track engineering, mastering, mixing, podcasting, youth training and personal development.
The community-based studios aim to give back to the local, creative population and support aspiring artists and young people who are interested in music.
The Open Day will run from 10am – 4.30pm on Saturday 9th December. A complementary lunch will also be served in the studio by local Italian establistment – and studio favourite – Cafe Bevenuti.
There will be two mini masterclasses running at 1pm and 3pm, which are open to all, run by SKapade’s managing director Stephen Kirkwood and Craig Hughes. DJ lessons will also be available free of charge. This is an excellent opportunity to chat to the team regarding the offers they are running over the Christmas period.
SKapade have enjoyed success in 2017, firstly by streaming their 50th episode of their livestream of the same name with Radio 1 Dj Will Atkinson on top of the Titan Crane. The team also won the Herald Society Award for Start Up of the Year this year and, perhaps most notably, one of their young students who has been receiving tuition from the studios over the past two years is currently progressing through The Voice Kids on ITV.
