Dundee rockers, The View has set a new King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut record by selling out six nights in less than twenty minutes, the first time any band has played six nights in a row in King Tut’s!
Kyle Falconer, The View, said: “We’re always really excited to play King Tut’s, but to be the first band to sell it out for a total of six nights in a row makes it even more special. Glasgow, we can’t wait!”
Commemorating a decade of “dreams, romance and excess”, The View will celebrate ten years making music together by performing all the greatest hits from across their extensive back catalogue. The six-night run in King Tut’s takes place from February 19th to 24th 2017.
The record for the longest run of sold out shows was previously held by Idlewild since 2008, where they sold out five nights in a row.
